About the event

What is the CBAO Annual Convention?

The CBAO Annual Convention is the Community Bankers Association of Ohio's flagship gathering. The 52nd edition ran July 29–31, 2026 at the Hilton Columbus Easton, inside Easton Town Center in Columbus. For more than five decades this convention has brought Ohio's community banking leaders together for education, peer connection, and a look at what is next for independent banking.

The format pairs keynotes and breakout education with the traditions that make the convention: the annual golf outing, a full exhibit hall of 62 partners, the CBAO FED PAC auction, and the Chairman's Celebration. It drew 250+ Ohio community banking professionals, the people banks actually send to set strategy and make lending and technology decisions.

Aloan was on-site for the full convention for private 1:1 working sessions. If you run lending, credit, or operations at an Ohio community bank, the next event is the place to bring a real commercial deal packet (tax returns, financials, bank statements) and watch our AI commercial loan underwriting platform run on your own files.

Hotel: The Hilton Columbus Easton, set inside Easton Town Center, served as the convention venue and host hotel.
