Our Story

Every commercial lender we talked to said the same thing. Their underwriters are sharp. Their credit judgment is sound. The problem is everything that happens before a human even looks at a deal.
Chasing documents, manual spreading, reconciling data across 3-5 systems. That's where the weeks go. And while underwriting grinds through the logistics, relationship managers are watching borrowers walk to whoever can move faster.
Founded in 2025
We saw the same deal die the same way too many times. A borrower needed a fast answer. The lender had the appetite but not the speed. Someone else got the deal.
So we built Aloan. Document extraction, spreading, policy checks, credit memo generation. What used to take days to assemble is ready for review in under 30 minutes.

Your underwriters shouldn't spend their day pulling numbers from PDFs. We take the raw document package and return structured, reviewer-ready output. Aloan is SOC 2 Type II certified, with borrower data processed through enterprise inference providers under no-training contractual terms.

Marty Blake

Marty spent 30+ years in commercial lending. He was part of the leadership team that built Crestmark Bank from its 1996 launch in Troy, Michigan into a national asset-based, equipment finance, and SBA lending platform. He saw the company through its $316M sale to Pathward (Meta Financial Group) in 2018, the deal that gave Pathward its national C&I lending franchise.
He's lived every part of the workflow we're rebuilding: chartering, credit policy, examiner relationships, and getting a multi-billion-dollar lending platform to a clean exit. Marty keeps us honest about what real commercial lenders need.
