Marty Blake

Marty Blake brings three decades of commercial lending experience to Aloan's board. He was part of the leadership team that opened Crestmark Bank's doors in Troy, Michigan in 1996 and helped grow it into a national platform offering asset-based loans, equipment finance leases, and SBA / government-guaranteed lending to small and mid-sized businesses across the U.S. In August 2018, Crestmark Bancorp was acquired by Meta Financial Group — now Pathward — for $316M, the transaction that gave Pathward its national commercial and industrial lending franchise. Marty has lived every part of the workflow Aloan is rebuilding: chartering a bank, running C&I credit at scale, working with examiners, and taking a multi-billion-dollar lending platform from launch to a clean exit. As Lead Independent Director, he keeps Aloan calibrated to what working commercial lenders — and the regulators looking over their shoulders — actually need.
